StrengthsQuest is an online quiz that helps determine your top five strengths, so that one may use these strengths to understand how they best work in a group setting. After doing my StrengthsQuest quiz, I discovered my top five strengths are Input, Individualization, Relator, Futuristic, and Connectedness. Of my five top strengths, Individualization is the one I want people to see most in me because it contributes most to how I interact with people in group settings and is the main connector of all of my other strengths. According to my StrengthsQuest results, those with the Individualization strength focus on the uniqueness of each individual and use this to draw out their strengths. When I meet people, I like to cater to each person’s individual needs and tastes because it increases both individual and overall productiveness and it also allows for group members to feel considered and cared for. I have found that when you focus on individuals and are able to tap into their favorable traits and their motivations, it is easier to give them a place in the group that accentuates these traits, and makes up for their weaknesses. I want people to see me as someone who is going to take their needs into consideration and contribute to the work environment in a way that is going to benefit the group as a whole. This personality trait also makes me self-aware of my own strengths and weaknesses which, when working with others, can help me convey when I need help and can help me quickly and easily resolve issues.
